In 2020 Piscataquog Land Conservancy celebrated 50-years of land conservation efforts in southern New Hampshire. We profiled the people that made it possible, remembered conservation milestones, told stories of stewardship and community, and shared gratitude for the thousands of acres of land now in protection forever.

We’ve set our sights on the next 50-years (and beyond!), and have developed multiple opportunities for you to join and support PLC on that journey.

Land Protection Opportunity Fund

Today’s real estate market requires fast action and we must be prepared to be competitive. The Land Protection Fund is a pool of internal working capital for high priority land conservation projects that require fast action.

Contributions to this fund will:

  • Enable PLC to identify and protect more strategic quality land
  • Give PLC the financial flexibility to be proactive in pursuit of new projects
  • Increase ability to act quickly in situations where development is imminent, and capital is needed urgently to purchase land

Stewardship Capacity Fund

In order to protect land in-perpetuity, PLC must sustain its full-time stewardship staff position, which is ever more critical as PLC continues to add conservation properties.

Contributions to this fund will:

  • Build resilience and sustainability into PLC’s stewardship staff funding
  • Increase volunteer recruitment and coordination capacity
  • Address growth of land assets requiring greater stewardship resources

Community Outreach & Engagement Fund

In order to sustain PLC in-perpetuity, we must reach new and younger audiences. The Community Outreach & Engagement Fund will support efforts to grow PLC”s community and raise awareness of our mission.

Contributions to this fund will:

  • Develop programming and resources for younger generations
  • Raise awareness of PLC with new audiences and increase visibility in our expanded service areas

Contribute to PLC’s Endowment

We’re committed to protecting the woods, water, and wildlife of our region forever. In order to guarantee our mission is fulfilled in perpetuity, PLC seeks to grow our endowment fund.

Contributions to this fund will:

  • Provide PLC’s leadership with the flexibility to support current and future activities and opportunities
  • Preserve the integrity of PLC’s strong financial position
