Hiking on Rose Mountain

If you enjoy getting outside to explore the hills, forests and rivers of southern New Hampshire, many of the lands protected by the Piscataquog Land Conservancy offer recreational trails. The properties highlighted below welcome the public, are family-friendly, and have well-marked trails.

All are either owned by PLC or by towns. Some properties may have special-use restrictions to protect important natural resources, so please adhere to any posted guidelines. For questions about the guidelines or the trails on our preserves, please contact PLC's Stewardship Coordinator Dan Ewald. Dan can be reached by email at dewald@plcnh.org or at the PLC office (603) 487- 3331.

Happy Exploring!

To find a PLC recommended trail on the map, zoom in or out using the "+" or "-". When you find a trail that interests you, click on the hiker icon for trail information. A wealth of additional information including a trail map can be found by clicking the property links below.

Hiking Safety

It is always a good idea to let someone know where you are hiking and for how long. During the COVID-19 pandemic bring a face mask for passing others on the trail or when you cannot maintain 6ft of distance.
