Dan Ewald

Stewardship Specialist

Dan joined the PLC staff in September of 2021.  He is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of PLC’s protected properties, coordination and support of our volunteer monitors, and interfacing with landowners, other conservation organizations, and the public.  He also manages PLC’s summer stewardship interns.

Dan holds an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University.  Before coming to PLC, Dan had several years of land conservation and stewardship experience and has previously worked with The Trustees and East Quabbin Land Trust.  Dan has also worked as an independent contractor for the Ashby Land Trust, Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
