Help PLC Finish Strong

with No Comments

After a winter that was relentless even by New Hampshire standards, spring came at last, and summer is suddenly just around the corner.  The warmth and longer days bring a surge in the Piscataquog Land Conservancy’s land protection work and also signal the homestretch of our financial year.   We hope you will renew your commitment to local conservation by making a gift to PLC’s annual conservation fund by the close of our fiscal year on June 30th

Here’s some of what we accomplished together over the past year:

  • We added four new properties totaling 133 acres in Brookline, Francestown and Lyndeborough to our growing network of conservation lands. With these latest additions PLC has protected 108 properties totaling almost 7,000 acres!

  • Our dedicated volunteers monitored every one of our conservation properties, built trails, marked boundaries, and installed gates and property signs.

  • We continued to connect the community via volunteer-led public walks, paddles and rides, and through our newsletter, a revamped website and e-news.

  • Last but not least, after almost two years of work we were awarded Land Trust Accreditation, a mark of distinction among land trusts in the United States.

Everything PLC does depends on the good will and generosity of members like you.  We hope you will renew, and even increase, your financial support as we continue to conserve land, water and wildlife in our own hometowns.

With Gratitude,
