Support PLC With a Year-End Gift

with No Comments

In the spring of 1970 a small group of friends and neighbors came together to see if they could turn an old railroad along the Piscataquog River into a trail. Fifty years on the little grassroots organization they founded has grown into one of our state’s most effective and respected conservation organizations. The Piscataquog Land Conservancy today stewards more than 8,700 acres of natural land across twenty-three towns in southern New Hampshire.

Our lands and conservation easements protect water and wildlife, support local farming and forestry, and provide places of natural beauty that make our daily lives and communities better. These lands are there when we need them, and the events of the past year have reminded us just how essential they are.

For fifty years PLC has been dedicated to conserving and caring for these special places across our region, and we need your support to keep the good work going. Our modest budget is funded almost entirely by the private contributions of individuals, families and businesses in the communities we serve.

As a loyal supporter of the Piscataquog Land Conservancy, we hope you will take a moment to make a tax-deductible year-end gift to PLC by December 31st. PLC is truly a community - each of us contributes as generously as we can, and every member matters. Thank you for being part of the Piscataquog Land Conservancy, and warm wishes to you and your family this holiday season.

With gratitude,

Aaron Gill - Chair, Board of Trustees
Chris Wells - President/Executive Director
